Antique Firearms Collectors Associations

Joining a collector organisation or club is very helpful and a great source of information. Associations provide assistance with technical and historical research, advice on acquiring pistols or parts, local legislation and collecting rules as well as providing a platform for meeting some great people with shared interests. Most countries have well organised collector associations. Some are very specific about the type of antique pistol (such as the Colt Collectors in the US) and others are by invitation only. But most will gladly welcome new members and you are encouraged to join your local antique collectors association or club.
