Colt Model 3 “Thuer” Deringer
One of the classic late-Nineteenth century personal-carry pistols in popular .41 rimfire calibre.
The No.3 Colt Deringer, also known as the Thuer model after a patented design by F. Alexander Theur in 1870, was the most popular of the three Colt Deringer models. Production ran from 1875 through until 1912 with 45,000 of this model being made.
Ours is finished in polished nickel, retaining good blueing on swivel screw, trigger and hammer. Walnut grips, very clean bore and crisp mechanical action.
